Your regular sync only covers the last 30 days of orders — that keeps every sync fast, even on a high-volume store. Getting older history into Hoard is a separate, one-time step, and there are two ways to do it depending on whether you use the Hoard agent.

If you use the Hoard agent: backfill from Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Sync.
  2. Find the Orders row under Import Historical Data.
  3. Pick a start year — the earliest available is 2020 — and start the import.
  4. Hoard creates one backfill task per year of history and works through them between your regular syncs. A progress bar on that row shows green (complete), amber (in progress), or red (failures), and updates automatically while tasks are running.
The same section has two more import rows you can run the same way:
  • Feedback — one button, pulls your full TCGplayer seller feedback history in one task.
  • Sales — a months-back picker (up to 24 months) that backfills your sales reports.
If you kick off a backfill that’s already running, Hoard tells you rather than starting a duplicate.

If you don’t use the agent: CSV upload

If you operate without the sync agent, upload a TCGplayer orders export CSV directly:
  1. Export your order history from TCGplayer’s seller portal as a CSV.
  2. Go to /import/orders in Hoard.
  3. Drag the file onto the upload page.
Hoard’s parser is tolerant of TCGplayer’s usual column-header variations and handles both M/D/YYYY and ISO-format dates. The import is idempotent — uploading the same orders twice won’t create duplicates, since orders are matched by order number. Uploads are capped at 50 MB. If something goes wrong, you’ll get a specific message: wrong file type, wrong headers (a common one is accidentally uploading an inventory CSV instead of an orders CSV), no data rows found, or a malformed CSV.

New accounts: some of this happens automatically

If you’re brand new and using the agent, Hoard queues roughly two years of order and sales history for backfill automatically after your first successful sync — you don’t have to click anything for that baseline. The Settings page backfill controls above are for going further back than that default, or for feedback history, which isn’t part of the automatic backfill.

After the import

Backfilled orders feed the same reporting as regular synced orders — Sales tab figures, customer history, and refund tracking all include the imported history once it lands.
