Hoard’s Orders tab has an Export to PirateShip action that downloads a CSV shaped exactly for PirateShip’s bulk-upload field-mapper, so you can drag it straight in instead of retyping every address. It lives in the toolbar’s Labels control: it’s the main button unless you’ve connected ShippingEasy. If you have, open the caret menu next to Push to ShippingEasy and choose Export to PirateShip (CSV).

Step 1: Narrow the Orders tab to what you want to ship

Go to Sales → Orders. You have two ways to scope the export:
  • Select specific rows with the checkboxes, or
  • Leave nothing selected and use the tab’s filters instead — search, status, date range, and shipping type all carry into the export automatically.
If you select individual orders, the export uses exactly that selection. Otherwise it uses whatever the Orders tab is currently filtered to.

Step 2: Click Export to PirateShip

Click Export to PirateShip. If ShippingEasy is your main button instead, open the Labels menu and pick Export to PirateShip (CSV). This downloads a CSV named pirateship-<date>.csv.

Step 3: What’s in it, and what’s skipped

  • Only Tracked and Expedited orders are included. PWE orders are always skipped — they don’t need a PirateShip label — even if you had them selected.
  • Cancelled orders are never included.
  • Each row is pre-classified with a Mail Class: Tracked orders map to USPS Ground Advantage, Expedited orders to USPS Priority Mail.
  • Orders with a non-US ZIP format (Canadian, UK, etc.) are skipped — PirateShip needs a country to issue an international label.
  • Orders missing shipping address data entirely (address or city not yet synced) are also skipped rather than exported with blank fields.
Skipped counts for each of these categories are available if you need to reconcile why your CSV has fewer rows than orders selected — check the row count against your selection if something seems off.

Step 4: Import into PirateShip

Drag the CSV into PirateShip’s bulk import. The first time, map the columns to PirateShip’s fields — Order ID, Name, address lines, City, State, Zip, Country, Weight, Mail Class, and Order Value are all included as their own columns. PirateShip remembers that mapping after the first import, so future exports just drag in and go. The Weight column is an estimated packed weight based on how many cards are in the order — see Shipping labels and tracking for the full weight table. It’s blank for an order over 200 cards or one with sealed product or accessories. Weigh those once they’re packed and enter the weight in PirateShip. Refunded copies don’t count toward the card total, and a fully refunded order is left out of the export.

Step 5: Buy and print labels

Once imported, buy and print labels in PirateShip as you normally would. The Mail Class Hoard set is a starting point PirateShip will show you — you can still change it per order in PirateShip if a specific package needs something else.

Your tracked/PWE threshold

Which orders count as Tracked vs PWE for this export follows the same threshold you’ve set for the rest of Hoard — the Tracking threshold field under Settings → Repricing (My Shipping Rules). Change it there if orders are landing on the wrong side of the export.

Common questions

Which orders are included in the export?

Tracked and Expedited orders only. PWE orders are always skipped, since they ship with a stamp instead of a purchased label, and cancelled orders are never included.

Why is the Weight (oz) column blank on some rows?

An order over 200 cards, or one that includes sealed product or an accessory, gets no weight estimate. Weigh it once it’s packed and enter the weight yourself in PirateShip.

How does Hoard pick the weight, and can I change it?

Hoard picks the weight from the number of cards still shipping in the order — see Shipping labels and tracking for the full table. You can change the weight on any order in PirateShip before you buy its label; Hoard’s estimate is a starting point, not a lock.

What happens to refunded orders in the export?

A fully refunded order is left out entirely, and the export’s toast reports the count, something like “Excluded 3 Refunded Orders.” A partially refunded order still exports — the refunded copies are just dropped from the weight.

Does this work for international orders?

No. Orders with a non-US ZIP format (Canadian, UK, and so on) are skipped from the export rather than exported with a guessed country, since PirateShip needs a country to issue an international label.

Does Hoard buy the postage?

No. Hoard builds the CSV with the address, weight, and mail class already filled in. Buying and printing the label happens in PirateShip, same as it does without Hoard.
