How it works
A sale is a discount that applies on top of your normal pricing. Your rules compute the price as usual (markup, never-go-down, floors, everything), and then the sale takes a percentage off that result. When the timer runs out:- The sale auto-deactivates
- Hoard runs a full reprice using your permanent rules
- Your prices return to whatever your rules say they should be
Example
Say you have a card with a $10 market price and your rule is 1.2x markup:
If never-go-down is holding that card at $15 (because the market dropped but your price didn’t):
The sale always discounts the final computed price. Your rules and protections run first, the sale applies last.
No manual “undo” needed. No remembering to turn it off. No stale sale prices sitting on TCGplayer for weeks because you forgot.

Sale presets
Four pre-built templates get you started without thinking about parameters:

What you see
- Active sales show an amber SALE badge with a countdown timer in the rules list
- Expired sales show a grey EXPIRED badge with the order count during the sale window
- Past sales are visible at the bottom of the rules list with basic performance stats
Important details
- The discount applies to your computed price, not to market price. If your rules say 9.60.
- Never-go-down still works. If it’s holding a card at 15, not the lower rule-computed value.
- Sale prices still respect your $1 floor. No card will ever go below the floor, even during a sale.
- If two sales match the same card, only one applies (the highest-priority sale wins). They don’t compound.
- Sales appear in a separate section on the Rules page. They don’t participate in rule priority ordering.
- The expiry check runs every 5 minutes. Your sale may run up to 5 minutes past the stated duration before prices revert.
- The same discount applies every reprice cycle. A 20% off sale gives you exactly 20% off every time, with no price drift or spiral.
Temporary sales only adjust card prices, not shipping. If you want to run a “free shipping” promotion, adjust your shipping threshold in Settings > Pricing separately.
