Download Hoard only from the Hoard download page or an official Hoard release link. The signed Windows installer uses the filename Hoard-Setup-<version>.exe and the verified publisher Hoard Technologies Inc.

Check the download

Open the file’s Properties, select Digital Signatures, and inspect the signature details. The signature should be valid and identify Hoard Technologies Inc. If the signature is missing, invalid, or shows a different publisher, stop and contact Hoard support with the download URL and warning text.

Understand the warning

A valid signature identifies the publisher and protects the signed file against modification. It does not guarantee SmartScreen reputation or prevent every warning. Smart App Control, antivirus, and organization policies may also block software. Do not disable Windows protections or assume a warning is harmless. If Windows blocks the verified download, contact Hoard support or your organization’s IT administrator. Include the filename and warning text, but never passwords or access tokens.

Install and connect

Follow the installer, then open Hoard from the Start menu. It runs from the system tray without a PowerShell window. Choose Log in, authorize in your browser, and sign into TCGplayer when prompted. The standalone command-line agent is a separate download for manual setups. It is also signed by Hoard Technologies Inc. and can still receive reputation warnings.
