Where to find it
Open your dashboard and go to the Today tab, then click into the Sync Log subtab. Each row is one sync cycle, with the most recent at the top.Reading a sync’s steps
Click into a sync to see its individual steps — things like logging in, exporting inventory, calculating prices, and pushing them to TCGplayer. Each step has a status:- Success — the step completed cleanly.
- Failed — a step that stops the whole sync. Login, exporting inventory, and uploading inventory are examples of steps that can fail the entire cycle this way.
- Failed (ignored), shown amber — a non-critical step failed but the rest of the sync kept going. Buyer feedback and sales report exports fall into this category; they run after your prices are already calculated and pushed, so a failure here doesn’t hold up pricing.
Partial vs. failed
A sync marked partial means every fatal step succeeded but at least one non-fatal step (like a sales report) failed along the way — your prices and inventory are fine. A sync marked failed means one of the critical steps didn’t complete, so treat that one as needing attention.Debug screenshots
When a step fails, Hoard automatically captures a before-and-after screenshot pair of the browser at that point and attaches them to the sync record. These exist mainly to help Hoard support diagnose what TCGplayer’s page looked like at the moment of failure (a layout change, a CAPTCHA, an unexpected error) — you don’t need to do anything to generate them, and you generally won’t need to read them yourself unless you’re working with support on a repeated failure. What to do with what you find
- A failed login step usually means your session expired — see agent stuck on “awaiting login”.
- A failed export_inventory or upload_inventory step is worth a retry with Sync Now; if it repeats, check general sync failure troubleshooting for the specific error text.
- An amber “failed (ignored)” step on buyer feedback or sales reports usually clears on its own next cycle and isn’t urgent.
