How often Hoard syncs automatically depends on your plan, and you can always trigger a sync on demand instead of waiting.

Automatic sync cadence by plan

You can always choose a slower cadence than your plan allows — the plan sets the fastest interval available, not a fixed one. In Settings → Sync, the Sync Frequency dropdown only shows options your plan supports (every 4 hours, every 8, every 12, once a day, or once a week), so you can’t accidentally pick something faster than you’re paying for.

Where to see your next sync

Settings → Sync shows “Next sync in ~[time]” with the exact time next to it, calculated from your chosen frequency and any timing preferences you’ve set. If auto-sync is off, or you haven’t synced yet, it tells you that instead.

Triggering a sync manually

Click Sync Now from your dashboard any time — this works whether or not automatic sync is turned on, and it doesn’t reset your automatic schedule. This is the fastest way to push a price change or refresh inventory without waiting for the next scheduled cycle.

Turning automatic sync off

If Automatic Sync is off in Settings → Sync, the agent only runs when you click Sync Now — there’s no background schedule at all. Everything else on the sync settings page (frequency, quiet windows, timing preferences) is disabled while this is off.

Manual vs. scheduled syncs in your history

Every sync in your Sync Log is tagged by how it started — a Sync Now click (or a manual push-now reprice) shows as manual, and a sync that ran on your automatic schedule shows as scheduled. If you’re trying to figure out whether your automatic cadence is actually firing on schedule, or you’ve only been triggering syncs manually without realizing it, the Sync Log is where to check.

What counts toward “next sync”

Hoard computes your next scheduled sync time from your chosen frequency plus any timing preferences you’ve set, like a preferred hour or a quiet window you don’t want syncs running during. Triggering a manual Sync Now doesn’t reset or delay that calculation — your next scheduled sync still runs on its original timing.
