If your prices calculated fine but Hoard says the batch is paused or held for approval instead of pushing automatically, that’s the auto-push guard — a safety check that pauses unusually large price pushes so a bad pricing rule or a weird market day can’t blow up your whole store before you notice.

What triggers it

Before pushing a batch of price changes automatically, Hoard checks it against three limits:
  • Inventory touched — the share of your listings changing at once
  • Value moved — the total dollar amount the batch shifts
  • Large swings — how many cards are moving more than 10% in one push
If a batch crosses any of these, it’s held instead of pushed. Increases and decreases are judged separately, so a wave of small price increases won’t hold back your decreases, or vice versa — only the half that actually crosses a limit gets paused, and the rest still goes out.

What you’ll see

A banner on your dashboard shows:
  • Which limit was breached and by how much (the worst breach leads, with any other breached limits listed below it)
  • How many cards are affected, and whether it’s increases, decreases, or the whole batch
  • The pricing rule that’s mostly responsible, if one stands out
  • An Approve button, a Review link (jumps to the affected cards in your Cards table), and an Adjust limits link

How to release it

Click Approve on the banner. If only one direction (increases or decreases) was held, the button approves just that half — the other half already went out. Once approved, the banner shows a confirmation and the push runs on your agent’s next check-in, typically within about 30 seconds if the agent is online. If your agent is currently offline, the approved push queues and runs as soon as it reconnects. You can also click Review first to see exactly which cards are in the held batch before approving.

Adjusting your thresholds

If holds are happening more often than you’d like, or a threshold feels too conservative for the size of your store, click Adjust limits on the banner (or go to Settings → Repricing) to set your own values for inventory percentage, dollar amount, and swing count. Hoard’s defaults scale with the size of your store, but you can override them directly.
