Your shipping settings tell TCGplayer (and buyers) which shipping methods you offer, what you charge for them, and how quickly you commit to getting an order out the door. This is store-level configuration, separate from packing and labeling any individual order.

Step 1: Open your shipping settings

In the seller settings area of your TCGplayer portal, find the shipping section. This is where your available shipping methods and handling-time commitment live, distinct from your general store policies.

Step 2: Choose your shipping methods

TCGplayer supports multiple shipping tiers for sellers — commonly a low-cost unwatched option alongside tracked, insured options for higher-value orders. Which methods you offer, and whether a given method is available to you, depends on your seller level and TCGplayer’s current eligibility rules. See choosing between PWE and tracked shipping for how sellers typically decide between them.

Step 3: Set your rates

For each method you offer, set what you charge. TCGplayer generally lets you choose between a flat rate and rates that scale with order size — check what’s available for your account in the shipping settings area, since options here have changed over time.

Step 4: Set your handling time

Handling time is the commitment you make for how long after a sale you’ll take to ship it. This shows on your listings to buyers and factors into your standing with TCGplayer, so set something you can consistently hit rather than the fastest option available.

Step 5: Save and verify on a listing

After saving, check a live listing to confirm your shipping options and handling time are showing the way you expect — buyers see this before they buy, and a stale setting here is a common source of “why does my listing say X” support tickets.

A note on tracking orders after they ship

Once an order ships, tracking it through delivery is a separate concern from these settings — see how to track TCGplayer orders.
