Listing a single card on TCGplayer means finding the exact printing in TCGplayer’s catalog, then telling the portal what condition, quantity, and price you’re selling it at. Here’s the flow for a one-off listing.

Step 1: Search the catalog for the card

In the seller portal’s inventory area, search for the card by name. TCGplayer’s catalog is organized by game, set, and printing, so you’ll usually narrow from a name search down to the specific set and printing you’re holding — the same card can appear in multiple sets, and foil/non-foil or different rarities of the same name are separate catalog entries.

Step 2: Select the exact printing

Pick the specific product page that matches what you physically have in hand. This matters more than it looks: listing against the wrong printing means buyers see the wrong image and set on your listing, and it can also mean you’re priced against the wrong market comp.

Step 3: Set condition

Choose the condition tier that matches your card — TCGplayer uses a standard condition ladder (Near Mint through Damaged, plus a separate track for graded and foil variants where applicable). If you’re not confident calling a condition, see applying TCGplayer’s grading standard.

Step 4: Set price and quantity

Enter your asking price and how many copies you’re listing at that price and condition. The product page will usually show you the current range of other sellers’ prices for the same printing and condition so you can see where you’re landing.

Step 5: Save and confirm

Save the listing. It should appear on the product’s listing page, alongside other sellers’ copies of the same printing and condition, generally sorted by price (with your seller level and shipping method affecting where you land in that sort).

When a plain listing isn’t enough
