TCGplayer’s sales reports are the record of what you actually sold, what TCGplayer took in fees, and what landed in your account. They’re the source of truth for reconciling your store’s revenue, separate from your live inventory or listing prices.

Step 1: Find the sales report area

In your TCGplayer seller portal, look for a reports or sales history section — usually near your orders and payments areas. You can typically pick a date range and export or view a report for that window.

Step 2: Understand the core fields

Sales reports generally break each sale down into a few components:
  • Gross — what the buyer paid, before TCGplayer takes anything out.
  • Fees — TCGplayer’s marketplace and payment processing fees for that sale.
  • Shipping charged / shipping cost — what you charged the buyer for shipping vs. what it actually cost you, if the report separates the two.
  • Net — what actually lands in your payout after fees are taken out.
The exact columns and how granular the fee breakdown is can vary by report type — check the specific report you’re pulling for its field list rather than assuming every report has the same columns.

Step 3: Export if you need it outside the portal

Most sales report views let you export to CSV for use in a spreadsheet or accounting tool. This is generally the easiest way to reconcile a month’s sales against your bank deposits or bookkeeping software.

Step 4: Cross-check against your fee understanding

If the fees on a report look different than you expected, TCGplayer’s fee structure has changed more than once — see how fees show up in your reports for the current breakdown of what gets taken out and when.

How this fits with Hoard

Hoard pulls your recent order and sales history from TCGplayer as part of its regular sync, and treats the sales report step as non-critical: if it fails on a given sync, Hoard logs it and keeps going rather than blocking your inventory update.
