Your Suggested Buy List answers one question: which cards did you sell for a good margin that you can now buy back cheap? It’s a Pro feature, and it’s built to be pulled by a connected assistant, so you can ask for it in plain English instead of opening the Buy List tab.

Step 1: Ask the question

Once your assistant is connected, ask something like:
“What should I restock on TCGplayer right now?”
or narrower:
“Show me my top 10 buy-back candidates for Pokemon.”
This is a read. The assistant calls into the hoard.buyCandidates.* bindings, so nothing changes in your store and it doesn’t count against your write allowance.

Step 2: Read the answer

Each candidate the assistant returns is a card you’ve sold recently at a margin, priced back out at today’s market. Expect it to include, per card:
  • What you sold it for on average, and how many times recently
  • Today’s market price
  • The margin, in dollars and percent
  • A “trending” flag if the card’s price has been climbing over the past 5–14 days
The ranking behind this isn’t just “biggest markup.” It weights recent sales velocity, how recently the card sold, and whether the card’s 90-day price trend is still rising or already falling — a card that’s cooling off scores lower even if the raw margin looks good, and the list won’t ever recommend market that’s now on a hard decline. Candidates need at least two recent sales of the same card to even show up, which filters out one-off flukes. The list only shows candidates that clear a confidence floor, so if your assistant comes back with “nothing worth chasing right now,” that’s the list working as intended rather than a data problem.

Step 3: Follow up

You can keep narrowing without starting over:
“Just the ones over $20 margin.” “Now sorted by percent instead of dollars.”

What it doesn’t do

This isn’t a general “what’s cheap in the market” scan — that’s Deals, a different Buy List subtab. The Suggested Buy List only surfaces cards tied to your own sales history, so it won’t recommend something you’ve never sold before. It’s also Pro-only. On a free or Gold plan, your assistant will tell you the feature needs an upgrade rather than return an empty list.

Acting on a candidate

Once you’ve found a candidate worth chasing, you can ask your assistant to track it or pass on it — see watch, dismiss, or snooze a restock candidate for that follow-up.
