# Coach a Puller with Pull Times

> Find who is slower than the store average, see which games slow them down, and check whether they get faster.

Pull times puts each person's time per card next to your store average. Use it to spot who needs a hand, then come back in a couple of weeks to see if it helped.

You need finished pulls from at least two people in the window you pick. Pullers are recorded when they choose their name at **Who's pulling?** on the pull sheet. See [See what each employee added](https://docs.tryhoard.com/how-to/see-what-each-employee-added.md).

***

## Step 1: Open the report

Go to **Sales > Pulls** and click **Pull times**. Start with **30 days**. A 7-day window can swing a lot on one big pull.

***

## Step 2: Check the tiles

The tiles compare this window with the one before it. If **Time per card** says "1s slower than before" in red, the whole store slowed down, so look at that before you single anyone out.

**Orders deferred** shows something like "19 of 669". That's how many orders were pushed to the end of their queue when each game was marked done.

***

## Step 3: Find the slow bar

Scroll to **Pullers**. Each person gets a bar for their time per card. The gray mark is the store average, labeled with its number, such as "Store 14s". A bar that runs past the mark is slower than the store.

Some games just take longer. A tracked Magic order and a PWE Pokemon order aren't the same job. **Pullers by game** splits the bars by game and shipping class so you compare people doing the same work. The store mark shows when two or more people pulled that game.

## Step 4: Open their page

Tap the name. The tiles now compare that person with the whole store, such as "4s faster than the store".

Scroll to **By game**. Each game has its own store mark, so you can tell if they're slow everywhere or just on one game.

![One puller's By game bars, each with its own store marker, and the Recent pulls table](https://mintcdn.com/hoard/bAeF_fAmYUzl6zh1/images/feat-pull-times-puller-games.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=bAeF_fAmYUzl6zh1\&q=85\&s=78d2c9b290affef5a321c231a3505c68)

**Recent pulls** lists the pulls they worked. Click a date to open that pull's recap.

***

## Step 5: Work with them

Pick the one game where they're furthest from the mark and start there. Sit in on a pull of that game and watch where the time goes.

***

## Step 6: Check back in a week or two

Open their page again after a few pulls and scroll to **Over time**. Their line is blue and the store's is gray. If the gap is shrinking, it's working.

![One puller's Over time chart with their blue line next to the gray store line](https://mintcdn.com/hoard/bAeF_fAmYUzl6zh1/images/feat-pull-times-puller-trend.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=bAeF_fAmYUzl6zh1\&q=85\&s=1876c49e2de02e6370a54a6586c23969)

Hover or tap a week (or a day in the 7-day view) to see their time per card next to the store's. Every chart also has a **Show as a table** link with the same numbers.

## What staff see

A team member who opens Pull times sees only their own pulls, with no one else's names. It's a quick way for them to watch their own pace.

## Limits

* Timing covers a whole game queue, not each order.
* Paused time doesn't count.
* Refunds and mis-picks aren't linked to whoever pulled the order.
* If two people work one game, whoever taps **Mark done** gets the credit.
