# TCGplayer price history not loading? Here's what to check

> If tcgplayer's price graph is blank or stuck, here's how to see a card's price history in Hoard instead.

If TCGplayer's own price graph is blank, stuck loading, or only showing a handful of days, that's a TCGplayer-side limitation Hoard doesn't control. What Hoard can do is give you a working alternative for any card you track.

## Why TCGplayer's graph can look broken

TCGplayer's built-in chart is designed for a short recent window, and it can render oddly for low-volume cards, cards with sparse condition data, or during TCGplayer-side outages. There isn't a fix on Hoard's end for TCGplayer's own page — but you don't need to wait on it.

## Use Hoard's price history instead

1. Find the card in Hoard — Cards tab, Movers, or search — and click it to open the detail panel.
2. Open **History**.
3. Scroll to the price trend chart below the pricing breakdown. It plots your listed price as an amber line and a dashed reference line for the market or low listing price, with a pill toggle to switch which reference line you're looking at.

This chart reads from Hoard's own market snapshots and your inventory's price history, not TCGplayer's graph rendering, so it isn't affected by whatever is wrong on TCGplayer's page.

## If the card isn't in your inventory yet

The chart above needs the card to be something you track — in your inventory or [watched](/tutorials/watch-a-card). For a card you don't own, check the public [market explorer](https://www.tryhoard.com/market) instead — no account needed, and it isn't tied to TCGplayer's own graph at all.

## What this doesn't fix

Hoard's chart is a different data source, not a mirror of TCGplayer's graph. If you specifically need TCGplayer's own numbers to load and they aren't, that's worth reporting to TCGplayer directly — Hoard's chart is the workaround, not a fix for their page.

## Making this your default view

If you check price history on the same cards often, it's worth [watching](/tutorials/watch-a-card) them so Hoard keeps their market data fresh on a faster schedule regardless of what TCGplayer's own page is doing that day. That way the chart in Hoard is reliably current whether or not you ever open TCGplayer's product page at all.
