# How to set your TCGplayer store to vacation mode

> How to pause your TCGplayer store while you're away, without cancelling orders already placed.

Vacation mode is TCGplayer's way of pausing your store temporarily — it stops new orders from coming in without you having to take every listing down and re-list it when you're back.

## Step 1: Find vacation mode in your store settings

Vacation mode lives in the seller settings area of your TCGplayer portal, alongside your other store-level toggles. Turning it on tells TCGplayer not to show your listings as available for new purchases.

## Step 2: Handle orders already in flight

Orders placed before you turned vacation mode on aren't cancelled by it — you're still responsible for fulfilling anything that already sold. Check your open orders before you go and make sure anything that needs to ship before you're away actually goes out, or that you have a plan for handling it while you're gone.

## Step 3: Turn it back off when you're back

Your listings come back online once you switch vacation mode off. Nothing about your inventory or prices changes while you're paused — turning it off just re-enables the listings that were already there.

## What to check before relying on it

TCGplayer's own seller-level metrics (things like your rating and fulfillment-speed standing) are calculated from your order history, so how a pause interacts with those metrics is worth confirming in your seller settings before a long trip, especially around a seller-level review period. If you just need to stop new orders for a short window rather than pause the whole store, some sellers instead drop quantities to zero or temporarily raise prices on specific cards — vacation mode is the store-wide option, not a per-card one.
