# How to find your TCGplayer payout schedule and 1099 tax form

> Where to find your TCGplayer payout schedule and download your 1099-K tax form in the seller portal.

TCGplayer pays sellers out on a recurring schedule and, depending on your sales volume, issues a 1099-K for tax reporting. Both live in the payments or tax section of your seller portal, not in your sales reports.

## Step 1: Find your payments section

In your TCGplayer seller portal, look for a payments, payouts, or billing section separate from your sales reports. This is where individual payout transactions to your bank account are listed.

## Step 2: Check your payout schedule

Your current payout cadence and any minimum payout threshold are set out in this section. Payout terms are the kind of detail TCGplayer can and does change, so treat what's shown in your own portal as current rather than something you remember from a previous year.

## Step 3: Find your 1099-K

If you cross the reporting threshold for the tax year, TCGplayer issues a 1099-K, generally available for download from the same payments/tax area once tax season opens for that year. The federal 1099-K reporting threshold has changed multiple times in recent years and can also vary by state, so check the threshold TCGplayer states in your portal (or with a tax professional) rather than assuming last year's number still applies.

## Step 4: Reconcile against your own records

Before filing, it's worth reconciling TCGplayer's reported gross against your own sales records — a 1099-K reports gross payment volume, not net profit, so your actual taxable income after fees, shipping costs, and cost of goods will be lower than the number on the form.

## How this fits with Hoard

Hoard doesn't touch payouts or tax forms — those stay entirely inside TCGplayer's portal. What Hoard can help with is the reconciliation step: since Hoard pulls your order and sales history during sync (see [reading your sales reports](/how-to/tcgplayer/read-your-sales-reports)), you have a record of gross sales and fees outside TCGplayer's own reports to check your 1099-K against. For the fee side of that math, see [how TCGplayer fees affect what you're paid out](https://www.tryhoard.com/economics/fee-changes-2026).
