# How to publish Quick Add or scanned cards as real TCGplayer listings

> How to turn cards staged in Hoard through Quick Add or scan and review into live TCGplayer listings, and what happens to cards with no SKU match.

Cards added through Quick Add or scan and review land in your Hoard inventory as unpublished — staged, priced, but not listed on TCGplayer yet. Publishing is the separate, explicit step that puts them on TCGplayer.

## Step 1: Find your staged cards

Whenever you have unpublished cards, the Cards tab toolbar shows a **Staged (N)** filter button. Click it to see exactly what hasn't gone to TCGplayer yet. A notice above the Cards table shows how many of those cards are ready to list, with a **Publish** button next to it. On `/collect`, a banner at the top of the page shows the same thing: a count of unpublished cards and their estimated value.

## Step 2: Review before publishing

Click the count in the publish banner to open a review queue where you can edit or remove cards before anything goes live. This is your last chance to fix a wrong condition or pull a card you don't actually want listed.

## Step 3: Publish

Click **Publish** in the notice above the Cards table, or in the `/collect` banner. Hoard matches each card to a TCGplayer SKU, runs pricing on it one more time, and queues everything for your next sync. Once TCGplayer confirms the listings, those cards convert automatically to regular synced inventory — same as any card that came in through a normal sync.

If a sync is already in progress, you'll get a message asking you to wait. Publishing again after a sync doesn't duplicate anything — each card only goes to TCGplayer once.

## What "no SKU match" means

Not every staged card has a matching TCGplayer SKU. This happens most with brand-new or regional printings that TCGplayer's catalog hasn't caught up on yet. Cards without a match get skipped rather than published incorrectly, and the banner shows you which ones. There's no publish-anyway override — once TCGplayer's catalog has the SKU, republishing picks it up.

## Plan requirements

Adding cards to Hoard through Quick Add or scan and review works on every plan, free included. Actually listing them on TCGplayer requires a paid plan or an active trial — on the free plan, the sync that would publish them runs read-only, so published cards stay queued and nothing goes out to TCGplayer.

If you're on the free plan and want to list cards yourself, use **Export CSV** in the Quick Add picks sidebar before you click **Add to inventory** (exporting clears the picks sidebar the same way adding does), then upload that file to TCGplayer directly.

## If TCGplayer rejects a listing

A rejected card gets a **REJECTED** badge in the Cards table, with the reason in the tooltip. Rejected cards aren't resubmitted automatically. They show up as an action on the Today tab ("N Quick Add cards failed to publish") with a **Retry** button that clears the rejection across the whole batch so your next sync tries them again.
