# Invite an employee

> Send an employee invite from Settings > Team, what they do to accept it, and how to resend or disable access.

Invite an employee when you want them to stock inventory or run pulls under their own login. You need a Diamond or Vault plan. For what employees can and can't do, see [Team and employee logins](https://docs.tryhoard.com/features/team.md).

## Send the invite

1. Open **Settings** and click **Team**.
2. Under **Invite staff**, enter the employee's **Name** and **Email**.
3. Click **Send invite**.

They show up in the **Team** list as **Pending** and get an email with a link that works once and expires in seven days. If they'll sign in with Google or Discord, invite the email address on that account. ## What the employee does

The link opens a **Join** page with your store name.

1. Enter a **Password** of at least 8 characters, then enter it again in **Confirm password**.
2. Click **Accept invitation**.

They're signed in and land on Collect. To skip the password, they can click **Continue with Google** or **Continue with Discord** first, then **Accept invitation**.

If they already have a Hoard account on that email, for example because they own another store, they click **Sign in to accept**, sign in, and click **Accept invitation**. Their password doesn't change. If they belong to more than one store, Hoard shows **Choose a store** next.

## Resend an invite

If the link expired or the email never arrived, click **Resend invite** on their row in the **Team** list. The new link replaces the old one. Rows show "Expired" after seven days.

## Disable or enable access

1. Open **Settings > Team**.
2. Click **Disable** on their row and confirm.

They're signed out on their next request and the row shows **Disabled**. Click **Enable** to restore them. **Enable** only appears for people who had accepted. For anyone who never accepted, use **Resend invite**.

Your own row shows **Store owner** and has no buttons.
