# Track your biggest price movers with an AI assistant

> Ask your AI assistant to track price movers and get this week's gainers, losers, and volatility flags without opening the Movers tab.

The Movers tab tracks which cards in your inventory changed price since your last sync. Your assistant can pull the same data as a quick question.

## Step 1: Ask

> "Show me my biggest gainers in the last 7 days."
> "What were my biggest price losers this week?"
> "Any cards in my store flagged with spike volatility?"

These are reads, served by the `hoard_movers` fast lane — a single tool call built specifically for this question, so the answer comes back fast even on a large inventory.

## Step 2: Read the answer

Expect card names, the price change in dollars and percent, and the time window the assistant used. If you didn't specify a window, ask which one it picked — Hoard tracks movers over several windows (24h, 7d, 30d, 90d) and the default your assistant picks may not match what you had in mind.

A "spike" flag means a card had a sharp, fast price swing rather than steady drift — worth a second look before you act on it either way, since spikes can reverse.

## Step 3: Narrow it

> "Just Pokemon."
> "Only cards over \$10."
> "Now the 30-day window instead."

## How this differs from the dashboard

This is the same underlying data as the [Movers tab](/features/movers), just asked in a sentence instead of clicked through with the filter bar. If you want the visual version — the top-movers art strip, the gainers/losers subtabs, set and rarity filters — that's still a dashboard thing. Ask your assistant when you want a quick number; open the tab when you want to browse.

This is also scoped to your own inventory. If you want gainers and losers across the whole market rather than just cards you own, that's a different, wider question your assistant can't currently answer from Hoard's data.
