# Draft a pull sheet with your AI assistant

> Ask Claude or ChatGPT to start today's TCGplayer pull session, then check its progress, without touching the tablet until you're actually packing.

Pull sessions turn eligible open orders into a picking list. Your assistant can start one and read its status; the actual picking, printing, and order deferral remain dashboard and tablet work.

Before you start, [check your sync health](/how-to/ai-assistant/check-tcgplayer-sync-health) if the open-order count might be stale. ## Step 1: Start the session

Ask your assistant:

> "Start today's pull session, then tell me how many eligible open orders it captured and the per-game breakdown."

This is a direct write to Hoard's pull-session state. It snapshots the eligible open orders Hoard has at that moment; it does not mark an order shipped, print anything, or change a TCGplayer listing. Hoard keeps one active pull at a time. If there are no newly eligible orders to capture, starting a session is a no-op rather than a useful empty pull.

## Step 2: Check what's in it

Once it is started, ask:

> "How many orders are in the pull? Break it down by game."

The assistant reads the active session's progress: completed orders, remaining orders, percent complete, deferred-order count, and warning count. It can also give the captured order count and per-game breakdown. That is the state Hoard recorded when the session was created or refreshed, not a live view of work happening at the shelf.

## Step 3: Print and pick

The assistant can tell you the pull is ready, but printing the QR cover sheet and packing slips, and scanning through the tablet view, happens from the dashboard. Open **Sales > Pulls** and click **Open Pull Sheet**, or hit **Print Pull Sheet** from the Today tab sync log bar.

Picking cards off the list, marking individual items done, and deferring a complicated order to the end are all dashboard/tablet actions. Your assistant can't do those — it can only start, check, and finish the session as a whole.

## Step 4: Check progress mid-pull

Partway through packing, ask:

> "Is the pull session still open? How much is left?"

This is a read, so ask it as often as you like.

## Step 5: Finish it

When packing is done:

> "Mark today's pull session finished."

The assistant can mark the session finished. Finished sessions still show in pull history; they just stop being the active one a new QR scan lands on.

## If something looks off

A pull session expires automatically after 24 hours. Starting a new non-empty session supersedes the old one, so if a QR code from yesterday suddenly shows "This pull has ended," that is expected. Start a fresh session and reprint.

If an order changes after capture, a refresh can flag it for review in the pull rather than silently treating it as ready to ship. Check the tablet/dashboard warning before packing. Your assistant can read session progress, but picking cards, deferring a complicated order, and changing which orders are excluded are dashboard actions.
