# Watch, dismiss, or snooze a restock candidate with your AI assistant

> Ask your AI assistant to watch, dismiss, or snooze a TCGplayer restock candidate, and understand why these are direct writes with no approval step.

Once your assistant has surfaced a [restock candidate](/how-to/ai-assistant/what-to-restock-on-tcgplayer), you'll usually want to track it, pass on it, or check back later. All three are direct writes — no review link, no waiting.

## Step 1: Decide what you want to do

* **Watch it** if you want to keep an eye on the card and come back later. This snapshots today's market price so you can see how it's moved when you check back.
* **Dismiss it** if you're passing for good. It won't come back on the list.
* **Snooze it** if you're not interested right now but might be later. Default is 30 days, but you can ask for a different window.

## Step 2: Ask

> "Watch that Charizard candidate."
> "Dismiss the third one, I don't want to chase that."
> "Snooze this for 2 weeks."

## Step 3: Check on watched candidates later

Watched candidates move to your Watchlist. Ask:

> "How are my watched candidates doing? Show me the ones that got cheaper since I watched them."

The assistant compares today's market price against the price at the moment you watched it, so you can see whether waiting paid off.

## Why these apply immediately

Watching, dismissing, and snoozing are direct writes, the same category as managing a card list — they don't touch prices or money, they just change what shows up on your buy list next time. That's different from a pricing rule change, which always goes through a preview and review link because it carries real money risk. If you're used to getting a review link after asking your assistant to change something, don't expect one here.

Watching is idempotent, so watching the same candidate twice doesn't create a duplicate action or throw an error.
