# How to add a card to your TCGplayer inventory manually

> Add a single card, or a handful, to your TCGplayer inventory without building a spreadsheet or photographing anything, using Hoard's Quick Add.

If you've got one card, or a handful, adding it to your inventory manually is faster than building a CSV or photographing anything. Hoard's Quick Add is a browse-and-click set picker: you find the card, click it, and it's in your picks with a condition and a price.

## Step 1: Open Quick Add

Click **Add Inventory** in the left sidebar, or go to [tryhoard.com/collect](https://www.tryhoard.com/collect) directly. On mobile, it's under **More → Add Inventory**.

## Step 2: Pick the game

Tabs across the top cover 22 games, including Magic, Pokemon, Pokemon Japan, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh, Lorcana, and more. Hoard remembers whichever game you used last, so most of the time you won't need to touch this.

## Step 3: Find your card

You don't have to open a set first. Type the card's name straight into the search box — "greninja," "lightning bolt" — and Hoard searches every set in that game at once. Each result shows the set and collector number, so you can tell near-identical printings apart. If several printings come back, filter chips for rarity, variant, or game-specific facets (type, energy, color) narrow the list.

If you'd rather browse a specific set, type the set name instead, or tap it from the list. Sets are grouped into five-year eras you can collapse or expand.

## Step 4: Set the condition and click the card

The condition pills at the top of the picks sidebar (NM, LP, MP, HP, DMG) set the default for anything you add next. Pick the right one before you start clicking if you're working through a stack that's all the same grade — you can still adjust individual cards afterward. Not sure how to grade a card? Click the card to add it. It shows up in the **Picks** sidebar (a tray at the bottom on mobile) with a running count and estimated value.

If your hands are full of cards, tap the mic button (Voice Match) instead and say the card name out loud — you can pack condition, printing, and quantity into the same phrase, like "two lightning bolt near mint."

## Step 5: Review and add

Click **Review & Add** to see everything in your picks with thumbnails, conditions, and quantities before committing. This step is auto-saved as a draft, so closing it doesn't lose your picks.

Click **Add to inventory** to finish. The cards land in your inventory already priced with your current rules — but as unpublished, staged inventory. Nothing goes to TCGplayer yet. See [publish staged cards to TCGplayer](/how-to/publish-staged-cards-to-tcgplayer) for that step.

## Undoing a mistake

Misclicked the wrong card, wrong quantity, or wrong condition before you've added anything? Press **Ctrl+Z** (or **Cmd+Z** on Mac) to undo the last action — it works for adds, quantity changes, and removals, and it's wired globally so you don't need to be focused on a specific field.

If you already clicked **Add to inventory** and the card is now staged, open the **Staged** filter in the Cards tab toolbar to find it, then correct the quantity or condition directly on that row, or remove it if it shouldn't be there at all.

## What if the card doesn't come up in search

Cards with no TCGplayer catalog match — a graded slab, a signed card, something with a photo attached instead of a barcode — don't go through Quick Add's set browser.
