# Split-List Pulls

> Pull from one sorted list per game, and divide any game's list between the people pulling.

A split-list pull puts every card in the pull on a list. Each game gets its own list, made for you when the pull starts. Each list is sorted by set A to Z, then card name A to Z. Lists never mix games.

You can leave a list as it is and hand out its QR code. You can also divide any game's list between pullers, so each person gets one stretch of the shelves.

Each list opens on the same Visual Pull sheet as a game queue. The only difference is how the cards are grouped. Every pull-sheet tool still works.

## By game or by list

Pick **By game, one order at a time** when each person can own a game. Each puller takes one game and works through its orders, one order per page. This is the default and nothing about it changed.

Pick **One list per game, split between pullers** for big pulls with several people. Each person walks their shelves once, one set per page, instead of going back and forth for each order.

## Turn it on

![Settings, Fulfillment tab, with How to divide a pull set to One list per game, split between pullers](https://mintcdn.com/hoard/lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7/images/feat-split-list-pulls-settings.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7\&q=85\&s=d38417c19b7de3703e3ebb01e9b0f27c)

1. Open **Settings** and click **Fulfillment** under **Orders**.
2. Find **How to divide a pull**.
3. Choose **One list per game, split between pullers**.
4. Save.

Lists are made when you start a pull. The rest of the tab is covered in [Settings](https://docs.tryhoard.com/settings.md#fulfillment).

## Lists are made when the pull starts

Start a pull as usual from the dashboard's Pulls tab. Hoard makes one list per game and gives each list its own QR code. No pullers are assigned yet.

The simplest flow needs nothing else. Hand out a game's QR code and that person pulls the whole game.

## Lists by game

![The Lists by game section with Magic divided between Sam and Alex, each with a QR code, range and link, and an undivided Pokemon list](https://mintcdn.com/hoard/lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7/images/feat-split-list-pulls-lists.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7\&q=85\&s=b523fcfe43373407d06a26482ff98f25)

The pull page shows a **Lists by game** section. Each game has a heading with its card and puller count, such as "Magic 17 cards, 2 pullers".

Each list has a row with:

* A QR code
* The puller's name, or "Pokemon list" when nobody is assigned
* The card count
* The range the list covers, when the game is divided, such as "Commander 2021: Breena, the Demagogue to Magic 2012: Flameblast Dragon"
* A link
* Whether the list is started or done, and who pulled it

## Divide a game between pullers

Divide a game when more than one person should pull it. The form sits collapsed under the lists. It opens by itself when new cards are waiting.

1. Open **Divide a game between pullers**.
2. In the game you want to divide, tick the people from your team.
3. Type any other names in **Other pullers**, separated by commas.
4. Click **Make the lists**.

Each game has its own group of boxes. A game left blank keeps the lists and pullers it had. You can divide one game and leave the others alone.

Hoard cuts that game's list into one list per puller. The first puller gets the start of the list, the next puller gets the next part, and so on. You can add up to 20 pullers per game. Owners and staff can divide a game.

### How the cut works

Hoard cuts by card count, not by line count. A line with four copies counts as four cards.

Copies of the same card (same game, set and name) always stay with one puller. The parts can end up a little uneven because of this.

Lines from canceled orders and fully refunded lines are left out.

### Empty lists

If a game has fewer cards than pullers, some pullers get an empty list. Remove a name and make the lists again to avoid this.

### Making the lists again

Making the lists again gives every list a new QR code. Old QR codes stop working and show "This pull was split again. Ask for your new link." Hand out the new codes.

## What a puller sees

![A puller's sheet titled Magic: Sam, Page 1 of 3, with the timer, Pause, and Previous, Push to the End and Next buttons](https://mintcdn.com/hoard/lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7/images/feat-split-list-pulls-sheet.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7\&q=85\&s=fabb147d642a9d26ff2507794e67002c)

The sheet is titled with the game and the puller, such as "Magic: Sam". An undivided list is titled with just the game, such as "Pokemon". The header shows "Page N of M".

Each page is one set. A big set is cut into pages of 24 lines.

![One card tile showing the PWE tag, order number, price, set and number, condition, and a Report a problem button](https://mintcdn.com/hoard/lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7/images/feat-split-list-pulls-card.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7\&q=85\&s=89f14a80f8fe05cbb8d82e5d706b8a4c)

Every card shows the order number it belongs to. A tag next to it shows how the order ships: EXP, TRK or PWE.

Some orders carry a note on the card:

* **Order refunded. Do not pull.** The order was fully refunded.
* **Order partly refunded. Check TCGplayer before packing.** Part of the order was refunded.
* **The review reason.** An order flagged for review shows why.

Pullers do not need to sign in. The link stops working 14 days after the pull started. After the pull ends, the link is read only.

## Tools that work the same as a game sheet

These all work on a list sheet:

* Grid and Table views, and card zoom
* The "Who's pulling?" picker
* The timer, Pause and Resume
* Report a problem, with all reasons
* Add a card photo
* Resume where you left off
* Reopen after a list is done

**Push to the End** moves the whole page to the end of that list. Hoard records those orders as deferred for the wrap-up.

![The All cards view for Magic: Sam with sort buttons for List order, Set, Name and Condition](https://mintcdn.com/hoard/lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7/images/feat-split-list-pulls-all-cards.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7\&q=85\&s=51afc2d9d0fb820536463d5d9d1936a7)

**All cards** shows the whole list at once. Sort it by List order, Set, Name or Condition. If you use [chaos sort](https://docs.tryhoard.com/features/chaos-sort.md), Box + slot is a sort too. The TCGplayer Direct sort is not offered on list sheets.

**Mark done** ends a list. The button reads "Mark Magic: Sam done". The done screen shows the cards pulled and the time spent.

## The Pulls tab

![The Pulls tab Active Session card reading Lists: Magic (Sam, Alex), Pokemon. 0 of 3 lists done, with a Divide a game button and a progress bar for each list](https://mintcdn.com/hoard/lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7/images/feat-split-list-pulls-pulls-tab.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=lbPqysCiGAcFhXE7\&q=85\&s=1b0132639797f8e1ac7a89e54753f1ba)

While a pull is running, the Active Session card lists the games and who is pulling each one. It reads like "Lists: Magic (Sam, Alex), Pokemon. 0 of 3 lists done."

The **Divide a game** button opens the pull page at the lists. If cards came in after the lists were made, the card says how many cards are on no list yet, and the button reads **Add new cards**.

Live progress shows one bar per list, such as "Magic: Sam" and "Pokemon".

## Packing slips and Print everything

Packing slips and ShippingEasy pushes stay per game. Find them on the pull page under **Packing slips by game**.

**Print everything** puts the list QR codes on the cover sheet. The per-game slips follow.

## Progress and finishing

The dashboard shows one bar per list, with pages done out of total pages.

The pull closes itself 10 minutes after every list is done. This is the same auto-finish as game queues.

The wrap-up and pull-time stats show a row per list.

## Rules to know

**A pull keeps its lists until it ends.** If you switch the setting back to By game, the change applies to your next pull. After the lists are made, that pull's game sheets only show cards. They say "This pull is split into lists. Use your list's QR code." This keeps anyone from pulling a card twice.

**Starting lists partway through a pull.** Games already marked done are left off the lists. If a game is still being pulled, the pull page warns you and asks you to confirm. Mark that game done first, or its cards go on the lists too.

**Orders added after the lists were made.** Their cards show as **Not on a list** in the Pulls tab progress. The pull page shows a warning. The pull stays open until you open **Divide a game between pullers** and click **Make the lists**. Games you leave blank keep their pullers. Lists already marked done stay done, and their cards are left out.

**An order on two lists counts once.** If an order's cards land on two lists, it counts as one completed order after every list holding its cards is done.

## FAQ

### Do I have to divide a game?

No. Every game gets its own list when the pull starts. Hand out the game's QR code and one person pulls it all.

### Can I change the setting during a pull?

Yes. If the running pull has no lists yet, the pull page offers to make them right away. A pull that already has lists keeps them until it ends, and the new setting applies to your next pull.

### Why are the lists not exactly even?

Hoard keeps copies of the same card with one puller. That can move a few cards from one list to the next.

### A new order came in after the lists were made. Where are its cards?

They show as **Not on a list** on the dashboard. Click **Add new cards** on the Pulls tab, then **Make the lists** on the pull page. Lists already marked done stay done.

### Do pullers need a Hoard account?

No. They open the link or scan the QR code. The link works for 14 days after the pull started.
