# Preview Prices

> Preview your current pricing rules, save the new prices in Hoard, then sync them to TCGplayer.

Preview Prices re-runs your pricing formula against your entire inventory without waiting for the next sync. You see a preview of every card that would change, decide whether to save those prices in Hoard, and then choose whether to sync them to TCGplayer now or let the next scheduled sync handle it.

## When to use it

* You just changed a pricing setting and want to see the impact right now
* You added a new pricing rule and want to verify it works
* You want to experiment with a different markup before committing
* A card spiked in price and you want your inventory to reflect it immediately

## How it works

1. Click **Preview Prices** in the toolbar
2. Hoard re-runs the pricing formula against every card (takes a few seconds)
3. The Cards tab shows a preview: which cards would change, the old and new prices, and the net dollar impact
4. Optionally, click **Export** to download the changes as a TCGplayer-compatible CSV before committing. Good for reviewing in a spreadsheet or keeping as a record.
5. Click **Save Prices in Hoard** to commit, or **Cancel** to throw it away

After saving, **Sync to TCGplayer Now** appears so you can trigger Hoard to send the new prices right away. Or just wait for the next scheduled sync.

## What it doesn't touch

* **Locked cards** are skipped entirely. If you manually locked a price, Preview Prices leaves it alone.
* **Custom listings** (graded cards, signed copies) are excluded.

## Undoing a Price Update

Every saved price update creates a snapshot. Go to **Today > Rollback**, find the price update entry, and click Rollback. Your prices go back to exactly where they were.

## Safety

Price updates and sync can't run at the same time. If a sync is in progress, you'll need to wait. This prevents conflicts where two processes try to update prices simultaneously.
