# Connect ShippingEasy

> Push tracked orders to ShippingEasy and get their tracking numbers onto TCGplayer automatically, without opening TCGplayer yourself.

Once ShippingEasy is connected, Hoard pushes your tracked orders into it, watches for the tracking number once you buy a label, and uploads that tracking to TCGplayer so the order ships itself. You keep buying and printing labels in ShippingEasy exactly as you do today. Hoard automates the two ends of that step: pushing the order in, and pulling the tracking number back out.

## What you'll need

* A ShippingEasy account
* A few minutes to create one new store inside ShippingEasy (Hoard pushes into a dedicated store, it doesn't touch your existing eBay or other stores)

## Step 1: Get your API credentials

</Frame>

In ShippingEasy, go to **Settings → Account Settings → API Credentials**. Copy your **API Key** and **API Secret** — you'll paste both into Hoard in Step 3.

## Step 2: Create a ShippingEasy API store

Hoard pushes orders into their own ShippingEasy store, separate from any store you already have connected to eBay or another marketplace. In ShippingEasy, go to **Settings → Stores & Orders → Add New**, and choose the **ShippingEasy API** store type. Use your store's real name and address — ShippingEasy prints them on your shipping labels as the return address, so a placeholder name would end up on every package. Save it, then copy that store's **Store API Key** from the stores list (it has a copy button next to it).

This new store doesn't replace anything — your existing stores keep working the same way. It's the address Hoard pushes tracked orders into.

## Step 3: Connect in Hoard

Go to **Settings → Integrations** and find the ShippingEasy card. Paste in the three values from the steps above:

* **Store API key** (from Step 2)
* **API key** (from Step 1)
* **API secret** (from Step 1)

Click **Save & test connection**. Once it comes back connected, the card shows a green **Connected** status.

Your key and secret are encrypted and never shown again — if you need to update them later, paste new values and save. Leaving a field blank on a later save keeps the value already on file.

## How it works day to day

1. **Start a pull** in Visual Pull like normal. Tracked orders sort into their own row per game.
2. **Push the tracked set.** Each tracked row has a **Push \[Game] Tracked to ShippingEasy** button next to its **Print Tracked slips for \[Game]** link, and one click sends every tracked order in that row to ShippingEasy. To push every game at once, use **Push all Tracked to ShippingEasy** at the top of the page, or the same button on the active-session card in **Fulfillment → Pulls**, which pushes each game in the order it's listed. For a smaller batch, select orders on the Orders tab and click **Push to ShippingEasy** in the **Labels** control.
3. **Buy and print labels in ShippingEasy**, same as you do now. Nothing changes on that end.
4. **Tracking comes back on its own.** Hoard checks ShippingEasy in the background every 10 minutes. As soon as a label is purchased, Hoard picks up the tracking number and carrier and uploads it to TCGplayer, which flips the order to shipped automatically. The upload half is controlled by the **Auto-ship on TCGplayer** toggle on the ShippingEasy card in **Settings → Integrations** — with it off, tracking still flows back into Hoard and you can upload it yourself with the one-click CSV download.
5. **Mark leftover plain-envelope orders shipped in one click.** Tracked orders ship themselves the way described above; plain-envelope (PWE) orders still use the existing **Mark as Shipped** bulk action on the Orders tab once you're done packing them.
6. **Refunds take care of themselves.** If an order is fully refunded before you buy its label, Hoard cancels it in ShippingEasy so it drops off your queue — no spot-checking. If the refund lands after you already bought the label, the order shows up in the needs-fix list telling you to void that label in ShippingEasy. Partially refunded orders still ship — the buyer is owed the remaining cards, and the refunded line is already crossed off your pull slip.
7. **Anything that needs a hand shows up in a short list**, right on the Visual Pull page — a bad address, a cancelled label, a refund that arrived after the label was bought, or a carrier TCGplayer doesn't recognize. The list tells you whether to fix the order where it is or push it again, then clears once the problem is gone.

## Package weight

Hoard sends an estimated package weight with each order, based on how many cards are in it, so you don't have to type one in before buying a label — see [Shipping labels and tracking](/features/shipping-labels) for the full table and what leaves the weight blank. Refunded copies don't count toward the card total. You can change the weight on any order in ShippingEasy before you buy its label.

## Label order

Hoard pushes tracked orders one at a time in the same top-to-bottom order they appear in Visual Pull. It also gives them increasing order dates and an internal note such as `Hoard pull 007 of 076`, so ShippingEasy has the same sequence and you can check any label against the pull stack. ShippingEasy still controls the final batch-print order; confirm the next batch is sorted by **Order Date** before printing. If your printer feeds the stack the other way and the two end up backwards, flip **Reverse label print order** on the ShippingEasy card in **Settings → Integrations**. It's off by default.

## What this doesn't do

Hoard doesn't buy postage or print labels for you — that stays in ShippingEasy, same as today. Connecting ShippingEasy only automates the handoff: pushing tracked orders in, and pulling tracking numbers back out to TCGplayer.

## Common questions

### Do I need a separate ShippingEasy store?

Yes, a dedicated store using the **ShippingEasy API** store type. Any store you already have connected to eBay or another marketplace is untouched.

### Where do my ShippingEasy API keys live?

Your ShippingEasy API key and secret are encrypted and never shown again once saved. Leaving a field blank when you update the others keeps the value already on file.

### Is Auto-ship on TCGplayer turned on by default?

No. Auto-ship on TCGplayer is off by default. With it off, tracking still flows into Hoard once you buy a label — you upload it to TCGplayer yourself with the one-click CSV download. Turn the toggle on to have Hoard upload it for you automatically.

### Can I use ShippingEasy and Pirate Ship at the same time?

Yes. The Orders tab **Labels** control offers both — **Push to ShippingEasy** as the main button once you're connected, with **Export to PirateShip (CSV)** in its caret menu.

### What happens to an order that's already shipped or already has tracking?

An order that's already shipped, or that already carries tracking from any source, is left alone. Hoard never buys a second label for it.

### How do I keep labels in the same order as my pull slips?

Push from Visual Pull, then confirm the ShippingEasy batch is sorted by **Order Date**. Hoard sends increasing order dates and numbered internal notes in pull order. If the whole printed stack is backwards, flip **Reverse label print order** on the ShippingEasy card.

## Troubleshooting

**The connection test fails**
Double check you copied the API Key and API Secret from **Account Settings → API Credentials**, not a store's key, and that the Store API Key came from a store using the **ShippingEasy API** store type specifically.

**An order shows up in the needs-fix list**
The badge tells you what's wrong: an address ShippingEasy couldn't verify, a rejected push, an unrecognized carrier, or a label/import that hasn't shown up yet. Address and push problems need another push after you fix them. Fix label, carrier, and import problems in ShippingEasy or TCGplayer instead; pushing those orders again does nothing. The order drops off the list once the problem is gone.

**Tracking isn't showing up on TCGplayer**
Give it about 10 minutes — Hoard polls ShippingEasy on a fixed schedule rather than reacting instantly to a label purchase. If it's been longer than that, check the needs-fix list on your Visual Pull page.
